You may lose a few, but not those who are truly friends. And you will gain far more than you lose.
I think of friends I had in school who were not of faith. None are around today. But, in my Saturday morning Men's Roundtable, adult Sunday School, Friday prayer breakfast, not to mention many friends in Indiana, I am blessed with dozens of friends, along with three close ones I call my lifelong friends.
When you have fellowship with people who have the same ultimate goal as you--Heaven--you have much in common for a lot of fellowship and whatever strikes your fancy: fishing, football, eating, traveling, or just sitting around and talking.
Proverbs 18:24 (NET)
A person who has friends may be harmed by them, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.
